New Jersey Ride Against AIDS is a cycling event created to raise AIDS awareness and to raise money for distribution to NJ-based AIDS charities. NJRAA is a 100% volunteer organization. There are no salaried employees or paid staff. 100% of pledge donations raised by riders and crew goes directly to NJ 501(c)3 AIDS service organizations. Past beneficiaries of NJRAA include The Center in Asbury Park,
New Jersey AIDS Services, South Jersey AIDS Alliance, JSUMC NJ Family-Centered HIV Care Network-Pediatric AIDS,
Broadway House for Continuing Care, Access One, NJCRI-North Jersey Community Research Initiative,
HiTops, and Buddies of New Jersey.
Our 14th annual NJRAA will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The ride will begin and end from New Jersey AIDS Services in Morris Plains. We will offer two routes, 25 and 50 miles. The 50 mile route will start first and connect with the 25 mile route so all riders will finish the event together. SAG (support and gear) vehicles and motorcycle traffic safety teams will accompany and assist the riders and crew while on the route.
